河南工业大学位于河南省郑州市，是一所以工学为主，涵盖工学、理学、经济学、管理学、文学、农学、医学、法学和艺术学等九大学科门类的多科性大学，是河南省人民政府与国家粮食局（现国家粮食和物资储备局）签约共建高校，中国国家教育部“中西部高校基础能力建设工程”，河南省特色骨干大学，河南省“双一流”创建高校，教育部“高校学科领域优先发展”规划高校。

Henan University of Technology is located in Zhengzhou City, Henan Province. It is a multidisciplinary university mainly focused on engineering, covering nine disciplines including engineering, science, economics, management, literature, agriculture, medicine, law, and art. It is a university jointly established by the People's Government of Henan Province and the National Grain Administration (now the National Grain and Material Reserve Bureau), a "Basic Capacity Building Project for Central and Western Universities" of the Ministry of Education of China, a characteristic backbone university of Henan Province, striving to become a "Double First Class" university in Henan Province, and a planned universities under the Ministry of Education's "Priority Development of Disciplines in Higher Education Institutions" program.

河南工业大学高度重视来华留学生教育，大力推广国际学生的汉语教学工作。学校拥有对外汉语授课教师29人，开设中国概况、汉语听说、HSK等对外汉语课程，参加培训的留学生达千余人次。学校先后主持参与2023年和2024年共4期线上“汉语桥”团组交流项目，共培养了来自俄罗斯、马达加斯加、喀麦隆、墨西哥、秘鲁等十余个国家的近三百名国际学生。

Henan University of Technology (HAUT) attaches great importance to the education of international students in China and vigorously promotes Chinese teaching for international students. The university has 29 Chinese language teaching teachers, offering Chinese as a foreign language courses such as Overview of China, Chinese listening and speaking, HSK, etc, and more than 1000 international students have participated in the training. HAUT has hosted and participated in four online "Chinese Bridge" group exchange programs in 2023 and 2024, and has trained near 300 students from more than 10 countries, including Russia, Madagascar, Cameroon, Mexico and Peru etc.

本项目旨在提升国际学生听、说、读、写能力的同时，帮助他们学习、了解中国传统文化和习俗。汉语言进修项目分为初级、中级和高级三个等级教学，为保证教学质量，学院实行小班授课，每班30 人以内。

The program aims to improve international students’ listening, speaking, reading and writing skills, while helping them learn and understand traditional Chinese culture and customs. The Chinese language training program is divided into three levels: primary, intermediate and advanced teaching. In order to ensure the quality of teaching, the school implements small classes, and each class is less than 30 students.

二、课程概况 Course overview

（一）课程等级：初级、中级、高级。

Course level: Elementary, intermediate, advanced

（二）学习期限：一学期/一学年

Course duration:one semester/one academic year

（三）学期安排Semester arrangement

1. 春季学期：3月—6月Spring Semester: March-June

2. 秋季学期：9月—12月Autumn Semester: September - December

注：具体日期依照河南工业大学当年校历执行。

Note: The specific date is in accordance with the current calendar of Henan University of Technology.

（四）课时安排Class arrangement

每学期16周，每周23个学时。同时不定期安排至少一次中国文化考察或课外语言实践活动。所学课程可提供成绩单和结业证书，不授学位。

Each semester is 16 weeks, 23 hours per week. At the same time, arrange at least a Chinese culture visit or extra-curricular language practice from time to time. Transcripts and certificates of completion are available for courses taken. No degree is awarded.

三、报名信息Registration information

（一）申请条件Application conditions

1. 符合《中华人民共和国国籍法》相关规定，持外国有效护照的非中国籍公民，且年龄在18-35 周岁；

2. 品行端正、身体健康，遵守中华人民共和国的法律法规及学校纪律，尊重中国人民风俗习惯；

3. 高中毕业及以上学历。

1. Non-Chinese citizens aged 18-35 years old who conform to the relevant provisions of the Nationality Law of the People’s Republic of China and hold a valid foreign passport.

2. Good conduct, good health, abide by the laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China and school discipline, and respect the customs and habits of the Chinese people.

3. High school graduate or above

（二）申请时间Application time

秋季学期入学：每年3月1日开始接受申请，6月底截止；

春季学期入学：每年11月15日起接受申请，1月初截止。

注：为防止系统关闭，无法提交补充材料，建议申请者至少在截止日期两周前完成申请。

Fall semester admission: Applications will be accepted from March 1 to the end of June each year

Spring semester admission: Applications are accepted from November 15 to early January each year and close in.

Note: In case the system shuts down and supplementary materials cannot be submitted, applicants are advised to complete their application at least two weeks before the deadline

（三）申请材料Application materials

1. 护照个人信息页（护照有效期至少为六个月）；

2. 高中或高中以上学历的毕业证书或预毕业证明；

3. 高中或高中以上学习阶段全部课程成绩单；

4. 《外国人体格检查表》（有效期至少为六个月）；

5. 无犯罪记录证明（有效期至少为六个月）；

6. 河南工业大学外国学生入学申请表；

7. 护照用免冠白底电子照片1张；

8. 已在中国其他高校就读的申请者需提供由所属学校留学生办公室或学院出具的推荐信，推荐信上需要注明推荐单位的联系方式。

1. Passport home page (passport valid for at least six months);

2. Graduation certificate or pre-graduation certificate from high school or above;

3. Transcripts of all courses in high school or above;

4. Foreigner Physical Examination Form (valid for at least six months);

5. Proof of no criminal record (valid for at least six months);

6. Application form for foreign students in Henan University of Technology;

7. One electronic photo on white background for passport;

8. Applicants who have already studied in other universities in China are required to provide a letter of recommendation issued by the International student office or college, which should indicate the contact information of the recommending institution.

四、收费标准Charging standard

其他费用Other expenses：

1. 在华保险费800元/年

The insurance premium in China is 800 yuan/year

备注：中国教育部规定，来华留学生必须实行全员保险制度，留学生在学期间必须购买相应的医疗保险。

Note: According to the Chinese Ministry of Education, international students in China must implement the full insurance system, and international students must purchase corresponding medical insurance during their studies.

2. 签证费：根据签证时长，约800元/年。

Visa fee: about 800 CNY/year according to the length of visa.

五、入学申请及相关事项 Admission application and related matters

（一）申请者在河南工业大学官网https://sie.haut.edu.cn完成在线申请，提交所需材料；

（二）河南工业大学审核申请并做出回复，接受、拒绝申请或要求申请者补充相关材料；

（三）河南工业大学发放电子录取通知书和JW202签证申请表；

（四）申请者携带录取通知书、护照、JW202签证申请表前往大使馆、领事馆或签证中心申请学生签证。

1. Applicants should complete the online application on the official website of Henan University of Technology at https://sie.haut.edu.cn and submit the required materials;

2. Henan University of Technology review the application and make a reply, accept, reject the application or require the applicant to supplement the relevant materials;

3. Henan University of Technology issues electronic admission notice and JW202 visa application form;

4. The applicant takes the admission letter, passport and JW202 visa application form to the embassy, consulate or visa center to apply for a student visa.
