根据《河南工业大学招收和培养国际学生管理办法》（河工大政外〔2022〕17号）附件1-1《河南工业大学国际学生学籍管理规定》第十三条：“国际学生因故不能按时参加教育教学计划安排的活动，应事先请假并获得批准，将请假条交于任课老师。无故不参加者，按缺课处理，予以批评教育或纪律处分，具体参照学校国内学时纪律处分的有管规定执行”；《河南工业大学学生纪律处分办法》河工大校政学〔2022〕20号（原校政学〔2017〕 12号）第二十二条：“未经批准不参加学校教育教学计划规定的活动，一学期内累计缺席达12到18学时的，给予警告或严重警告处分”。

经核查，学生所在专业学院报告以下三名国际学生自本学期开学以来，累计无故旷课达到12学时以上。经研究决定，给予三名国际学生警告处分。

Decision on Warning of Disciplinary Offence

According to Article 13 of Annex 1-1 Henan University of Technology International student status Management Regulations in the regulation of Henan University of Technology Recruitment and Training of International Students Management Measures (2022) No. 17: “International students who cannot participate in the education and teaching plan on time for some reason should ask for leave in advance and get approval, the request for leave will be submitted to the teacher. Those who do not attend for no reason will be treated as absent from class, and will be subject to criticism, education or disciplinary sanctions. It shall be implemented in accordance with the regulations governing disciplinary measures for Chinese students during school hours”. Article 22^nd of the Henan University of Technology Student Disciplinary Measures (University Political Science (2022) No. 20) (former University Political Science) (2017) No. 12: “Students who does not participate in the school education and teaching plan of the activities without approval, cumulative absence within a semester of 12 to 18 class hours, will be given warning or serious warning sanctions”.

After verification, the professional college of the student reported that the following three international students had accumulated more than 12 class hours of unexcused absences since the beginning of this semester. This three international students were given disciplinary warnings after discuss.
